Cutie Mark: Heart fashioned like a apple with Indian red outline, lime green leaf & seeds, wood brown (insides)
Cutie Mark History: Having taken after his mother in learning and teaching, while on one of her many teachings, he gained his cutie mark when he started to instill the knowledge given to him by his mother to his friends.
Colors: Sunray (hooves) & Mode Beige (body), Rusty Red & Sunray (hair), Sunray (eyes)
Personality: Buck is a very easygoing and kind stallion who sometimes takes a little too much time to dally around. If it involves learning and children, however, he's all focus. He's a bit of a rough and tumble, scruffy guy who likes to show his strength on the farm but show his intelligence in subtle ways (as not to brag, so to speak). 
Quirks: Tends to start fights by accident (bumping into other stallions, primarily), very soft-spoken with children/fillies
Bad Habits: Prances in place when worried, tends to chew on his beard (when longer) so he has to keep it short

Family
    Applebuck loves his family, including his rather sullen and un-Apple-like sister, Fauna. He will stand up for her, regardless if she wants him to or not. He loves interacting with his family and enjoys spending lessons with his mother and working on the farm with his father. He's close with his cousins but he's close to anypony he wants to be.

Newton Wonder
    These two share a love of learning and teaching, though Applebuck focuses on the young versus Newton's focus on adults. They used to have slumber parties that secretly still go on, even if they're a bit too old for it, where they spend the night talking about intelligent things that would make Twilight Sparkle proud.

Azure Canvas
    Applebuck took Azure under his 'wing' so to speak and helped him talk to his parents when he wanted to come clean about not wanting to be a Wonderbolt. Since then, they've had a mentor relationship (even though Applebuck is younger, he is the mentor) and Azure Canvas also considers him a sounding board about his art ideas.
