Cutie Mark History:
   Azure Canvas was the brightest thing in Rainbow Dash’s life and he did everything to be like his parents. Fast and loyal, strong and determined. But whereas his parents were a part of the Wonderbolts, Azure Canvas never felt comfortable there. He came across an older stallion who was painting the landscape. Seeing the interest in the young boy, he offered the younger to try it out. To his surprise, Azure Canvas used his wings instead of the paintbrush to create art and found that he utterly enjoyed it. His paints were abstract but became very popular and Azure Canvas found out that he was a painter.
Colors: Aero body, Sapphire hair with Olivine and Golden Poppy streaks, Carnation Pink eyes
Personality: 
    Azure Canvas is as different from his parents as one can get. He prefers to be on the ground and he’s not a fan of racing. He doesn’t want to get somewhere as fast as possible, preferring to take his time as his own. He’s incredibly color-oriented and has to have things look and done a certain way. He works on his art by use of his wings so you may end up finding him with stained feathers that he proudly shows off as simply another artistic look. When things don’t go well, or if he gets stuck, he gets very moody and upset and won’t talk to anyone about it. It takes a lot for him to really open up to people because he believes most wouldn’t ‘get him’.
Quirks: Uses his wings to paint, versus a paintbrush.
Bad Habits: Gets into fights, a lot. Argues, often just because.
Relationships:
Family
    Azure Canvas spends a good deal of time with his family, in particular to his mother, Rainbow Dash. He can't quite stand Moonbow as he's very... out there, but will come to his defense should he be bullied. He has a rather competitive streak with his father, often duking it out. Not in anger but a great deal of energy.

Hypernova
    Loves her mindset and can be protective of her. They don't hang out that often but Hyper has shown interest and delight in his paintings.

Strawberry Quartz
    They share the common goal of keeping Hyper safe (usually from herself). They talk to each other more often in letters as she usually lives in Canterlot. Azure considers Berry to be one of his very good friends.

Golden Russet
    They were once BFFs but their friendship has cooled a bit due to Golden Russet's change in demeanor when he began dating Cherry Lollipop. He could care less about their relationship but Russ had the habit of lamenting about not being able to tell their parents and that wore thin with Azure.

Cherry Lollipop
    Doesn't like to spend time with her. Not because she's a bad mare but because Golden Russet talks a lot about her and that's about as much as he can handle. He doesn't understand why she's so angry at her mother when she clearly loves her and thinks Cherry is a bit of a cold-shouldered pony.

Flora
    These two spend a lot of time together. Flora flirts with him, Azure gets distracted and panicked, and then Flora will continue to flirt with him, simply because it gets under his skin. He has liked Flora for a long time but feels trapped in the friend zone since Flora actually doesn't show that much interest in him or in boys in general.

Applebuck
    Now there's an Apple that Azure can stand. He thinks he's the greatest guy ever, ever since Applebuck helped him talk to his parents about not wanting to be a Wonderbolt and wanting to paint. Applebuck may be younger but he acts older than Azure and often is his voice of calm reason.
